Last time I saw them, they did their encore *unplugged* and had everyone crowd the stage to listen; it was amazing. I think the bass player actually does clogging rather than tapdancing -- it probably doesn't matter what you call it, just 'clogging' has more folk cred for me than tap does :-) Nickel Creek is truly awesome.
