Boston Marathon

Wow. I returned to the Olin bubble after spring break and things just hit the fan again. I’ve been busy zooming towards the end of the semester, but I’m looking forward to the possibilities for summer. I have a couple internship options in the works, as well as possibly working with some friends on a startup of our own. Also, I’ll finally be getting a car, which I’m really excited about. Finally, blessed mobility will be mine again.

Today was the Boston Marathon here in … well, Boston. Everybody was out in force and the subways were a mess. I went to visit my friend Katherine this evening after the race was over. She ran and had been training all semester for it, so she did pretty well (11-12 minute miles.) She felt really good about it and had a blast as well. All of her friends were also talking about the good times that they had watching, so I suppose I might actually have to go and try out this whole “watching the marathon” thing next year. I’m definitely not going to run in it though. Yikes. 26.2 miles is gross.
